About the Pow Wow

Pow Wow, our annual end of summer gathering at Camp Pioneer! This year, Pow Wow will be held August 8-10, 2008. For those who were called out on Friday Night at Summer Camp, this is your first opportunity of three to go through your Ordeal and formally join the Akela Wahinapay Lodge and the Order of the Arrow. For those who have been an Ordeal Member since at least Pow Wow 2007, you are eligible to further strengthen your ties to the Order by going through your Brotherhood. New officers will be elected for the 2008-09 lodge year. For everyone else, Pow Wow is a great opportunity to get together and visit with old friends, and fellowship with other members of the Order. We will be breaking down summer camp, so everyone’s help is needed. There will also be some time for fun activities as well.
